On 11th October, Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, held their annual regional Roadshow event at Jumeirah Messilah Hotel & Spa in Kuwait.
The welcomed specialists in the travel trade industry, including tourism, hotels, tour operators, and travel agents as well as their prominent clients and media representatives. The event revealed its latest growth and expansion developments internationally, highlighting recently inaugurated hotels, resorts and new facilities worldwide which draw Kuwaiti tourists.
The group boasts some of the most prestigious and captivating properties in the world, from the iconic flagship hotel and timeless pinnacle of luxury, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and lavish Arabian palaces across Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah, to its contemporary Maldivian island paradise at Olhahali Island and art-inspired dolce vita on the island of Capri. Whether a modern twist on a British classic in the heart of Knightsbridge, London, at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, or a futuristic setting at Jumeirah Nanjing, Jumeirah’s name is synonymous with service excellence, crafting exceptional experiences for everyone who walks through its doors.
We were excited when we got the opportunity to attend the event and also have exclusive interviews with the team.
We started our interview with Mr. Alexander Lee – The Chief Commercial Officer, Jumeirah Group.
Mr. Alexander gave us a general overview of the brand in general and the update on the current and upcoming properties of Jumeirah group.
Mr. Alexander Lee expressed his excitement to be back in the market and felt great for the opportunity to meet their partners and media. He mentioned that the Roadshow is an opportunity to explain the brand’s stance and developments during the pandemic.
Mr. Lee was excited to share the reopening of the Carlton Tower in London.
The Carlton Tower Jumeirah (reopened 2021): reopened its doors following the most extensive makeover in its history in 2021. Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, the hotel offers 186 beautifully appointed guest rooms, 87 of which have the fantastic benefit of a balcony, a rarity for the capital, enabling guests to take full advantage of the stunning views across London. The property also boasts the city’s largest naturally lit swimming pool, situated at the impressive rooftop health club and spa, The Peak and destination Italian restaurant Al Mare.
Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island (October 2021): an all-villa luxury resort located in the North Malé Atoll, easily reachable by speedboat or seaplane from Malé Airport. Featuring 67 beach and over-water villas with surprising contemporary architecture, private infinity pool and large roof-top terrace.
The resort is home to two of Jumeirah’s signature restaurants Kayto and Shimmers and is an idyllic location for romantic getaways or a blissful island retreat for friends and family.
Jumeirah Bali (April 2022): located in the stunning Uluwatu region, Jumeirah Bali stands atop a limestone cliff, providing a magnificent setting to soak in breath-taking sunset and ocean views. Combining distinctive Balinese warmth and charm with Jumeirah’s renowned Arabian luxury hospitality, the all-villa resort will have 123 suites with private pools offering sea or tropical views, alongside three signature restaurants, a Talise Spa and fitness centre.
Jumeirah Muscat Bay (June 2022): set in the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah, nestled between the Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, Jumeirah Muscat Bay is the latest addition to Jumeirah’s luxury portfolio.
