L’Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray
Hairspray history can be divided in two – Life before Elnett and after Elnett.
Elnett Satin hairspray has been the ultimate styling product of hairdressers and stylists around the world for almost half a century. In 1960, L’Oreal laboratories created this satin formula containing fine polymers that could be brushed out. They revolutionized the hairspray market with a product that effortlessly fulfilled all the promises.
In 1963, L’Oreal turned the legendary spray into a gold package and has kept it that way ever since.
The year after, in 1964, they introduced the ‘femme image’ and it’s the one that still appears on their bottles. Throughout the years we have seen iconic images of models and actresses like Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Penelope Cruz, Linda Evangelista, Laetitia Casta and Cheryl Cole, amongst others.
In 1968, Elnett developed a micro-diffusion technology which made the spray even finer.
Women love this budget-friendly bottle the same way as professionals do but it wasn’t until 2010 that this magic bottle started to sell outside Europe.
And who says Elnett Hairspray is only for hair? The few times I’ve been without setting spray for make-up, I’ve just sprayed it across my face for a long lasting make-up!< Back
