The highly anticipated drama series, ‘House of the Dragon’, the prequal to HBO’s Game of Thrones, is now exclusively streaming on OSN+, the region’s leading streaming service for premium entertainment, simultaneously with the US.
In the lead-up to the premiere of the series, OSN+ activated ‘House of the Dragon’ in several destinations across the Middle East to entertain and excite fans in the region. Celebrations began with an exclusive screening of the first episode on August 16th at the Theatre of Digital Art in Dubai, followed by an immersive 1,000 drone show that lit up the sky over the Boulevard Riyadh City during Gamers8, the world’s biggest gaming and esports festival, on August 18th.
Later, a massive 5-meter long, 3-meters tall Dragon skull was unveiled on the shores of the coastal city of El Alamein in one of Egypt’s popular locations, Marassi Beach Clubhouse, on August 18th for three days, giving fans and visitors the opportunity to connect and engage with the global must-watch series ahead of its premiere date.
The celebrations continued August 22nd in AlUla, located in North-West Saudi Arabia, an area of untouched wilderness, outstanding natural beauty, and cultural significance featuring some of the world’s most spectacular locations. AlUla’s iconic natural rock formation, Elephant Rock, was emblazoned with the House of the Dragon’s sigil (symbol). The stunning projection was accompanied by a gigantic Balerion dragon skull seen in the Diwan at Jabal Ithlib, one of Hegra’s most fascinating sites, and within the stunning landscape of Wadi Al Fann.
