Hi, could you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hello. My name is Talal Salem. I am an entertainer.
Tell us about your education:
I study at PAAET. I major music, hopefully to teach in the future.
What is it exactly that you do?
I perform live music shows and stream online.
What got you interested in what you’re doing?
It feels right.
What makes you unique or special in what you are doing?
I don’t think I’m special or anything. I’m just another person following his dream.
Tell us your journey to where you have reached today. How was the initial struggle?
It was hard in the beginning but now I feel recognition.
How has been the help of your family in what you are doing? Were they supportive since the beginning?
My parents were always supportive – if I kept my grades high.
Who are your top 3 heroes and why?
Not three, just one. Ironman, cause why not?!
What are some of the challenges you are facing in your field and how are you overcoming them?
Singing in English doesn’t have many listeners in Kuwait but somehow it’s growing now.
What advice or mentorship made a difference in your career?
A wise man once told me: ‘When you rest, you rust.’
How would your friends describe you?
Crazy, lazy, smart and compassionate.
What are some of your hobbies?
Music, as I mentioned, and I also love fishing and gaming.
What are some of your top achievements?
Finishing high school.
What are your plans or goals for the future?
To be a better version of myself, always.
How did it feel to be chosen for this award?
It actually was amazing. It was the first call I recieved when I woke up and it was really unexpected.

I want to tour the world with my guitar and sing everywhere and leave a print in this world to be remembered by.
