“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.” – Napoleon Hill

Hi, could you introduce yourself in a few words?
I started working and making money when I was in high school. That is where I realized that with or without a job I can make a living. After finishing my bachelor’s I had three jobs but didn’t fit in any of them. That’s when I decided I should start my own business.

Tell us about your education:
Diploma in Marketing from the ACM, Bachelor’s in Marketing from the AUM, and MBA from the AUM.

What is it exactly that you do?
I own and run a marketing agency called Viral Marketing. I also invested in multiple small to medium business.

What got you interested in what you’re doing?
Having the work environment I wanted to work in and making a difference in my clients’ growth and sales.

What makes you unique or special in what you are doing?
I don’t think I’m unique or special, I just work hard to get what I want.

Tell us your journey to where you have reached today. How was the initial struggle?
I think there were lots of challenges in the beginning especially in building the right standards in procedures that can fit our flexible work environment. It was very challenging in the beginning but challenges subsided with time.

How has been the help of your family in what you are doing? Were they supportive since the beginning?
My mom and aunt were very supportive. Without them I don’t think I could have done anything. As for the rest of the family, they thought I was very reckless to leave a fat salary and a very good position to go through what’s unknown to be a success or a failure.

Who are your top 3 heroes and why?
My mom. She struggled in raising us as a single mother but she gave me the freedom to choose how I want to shape my life.
Bedros Keuilian. From nothing he built the fastest growing fitness franchise empire in the US.
Napoleon Hill. He died decades ago, but his legacy and books are still alive.

What are some of the challenges you are facing in your field and how are you overcoming them?
Having a good boss is a blessing. He guides you, teaches you and motivates you while being your own boss means you have to learn everything yourself, motivate yourself and motivate your team to give their maximum even if you’re feeling down.

What advice or mentorship made a difference in your career?
“When your back is against the wall, the only way is moving forward.” That’s why I left my job and started a business and didn’t start the business while having a job.

How would your friends describe you?
Work addict, bookworm and emotionless. I have emotions but I know how to control my feelings.

What are some of your hobbies?
Photography, videography and reading.

What are some of your top achievements?
Landing most of the huge corporations in Kuwait and the Middle East as clients in the beginning of my business career.

What are your plans or goals for the future?
To have Viral Marketing fully depending on itself without the need of me being there to manage it. Also, building and investing in more businesses.

How did it feel to be chosen for this award?
Very humbling.

Your message for other young and talented people out there:
Go there, give it your best and even if you fail, failure is part of the process. Don’t depend on anyone to build your future, it is your responsibility. There is no need to start big or start perfect, learn and fix while you’re doing it.

Tell us about a dream that you would like to fulfill or make it a reality:
My dream is to inspire and lead people to fulfill their potential. During my short journey I made three people quit their jobs and go seek their potential. I aim to do the same with more people until the Kuwaiti economy depends less on oil and more on entrepreneurs.
